Overcharged
Excess Rift energy from equipment failure, overchanneling or hostile feedback is surging through you and your gear.
Mechanical Effects
- · Before the start of your next turn, you have advantage on your next spell attack roll or Rift-augmented weapon attack roll. If you instead cast a spell that forces a saving throw in that time, the target has disadvantage on it.
- · You have disadvantage on saving throws until the end of your next turn.
- · If you are holding a Rift-augmented weapon when you become Overcharged, its next damage roll is a critical hit. After that roll the weapon's special modes are locked until you spend an action to vent it.
Triggers
Overcharging a weapon's special mode, a critical hit from a Rift damage source, a failing Rift-powered device, and class features that spend Overcharged as a resource.
Removal
Ends at the start of the turn after your next one. It runs through one full turn of yours.
