Prone
You are lying flat on the ground. In zero gravity you drift instead, with no surface to push against.
Mechanical Effects
- · Your only movement option is to crawl, at half speed, unless you stand up. Standing up costs half your movement.
- · You have disadvantage on attack rolls.
- · An attack roll against you has advantage if the attacker is within 5 feet of you, and disadvantage otherwise.
- · In zero gravity you drift at half speed instead of crawling, and standing up means anchoring to a surface. That costs half your movement and a successful DC 12 Dexterity check, or a magnetic tether.
Triggers
Being knocked down by a shove or by a spell such as Tremor, falling, or dropping Prone on your turn at no cost.
Removal
Spend half your movement to stand up. Some spells and features pull a creature to its feet without costing it movement.
