Troll PR 9

Cybernetic Battle Troll

A cybernetic battle troll is a troll fitted with plating so that it survives long enough to use the regeneration it already had. The arms are armored to the shoulder and the spine mounts a coolant stack. A control feed runs into the base of the skull and keeps the troll aimed at the enemy. Syndicates build battle trolls and sell them by the pair. A troll whose feed is cut attacks the nearest creature.

Traits

  • Reactor-Fed Regeneration

It regains 20 hit points at the start of its turn. If it takes acid or fire damage, this does not function at the start of its next turn. It dies only if it starts its turn at 0 hit points and does not regenerate.

  • Coolant Stack

When it takes fire damage, its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn.

  • Slaved

While its control feed is intact, the troll has advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened. A creature can cut the feed with one melee attack against armor class 18. Once the feed is cut, the troll attacks the nearest creature.
