Tengu
A tengu holds a peak and the temple road below it and watches who comes up. Pride draws its attention: a priest selling blessings, a swordsman who believes his reputation, a lord traveling with too many banners. Those it takes are found days later on the wrong mountain, with no memory and no arrogance. Humble climbers are sometimes taught instead.

Feather Fan

-
Whisk Away
One Incapacitated or Charmed creature within 5 feet vanishes with the tengu. It reappears 1d4 days later, 1d100 miles away and unharmed. It has no memory of the interval but has learned a lesson it cannot put into words.
-
Riposte Reaction
When a creature within 5 feet misses it with a melee attack, the tengu makes one sword attack against that creature.
