Ulfwarg
Old Norska has one word for a wolf and for a man put outside the law, and an ulfwarg is what the holds mean when they will not say which. It is a wolf the size of a horse, working open ground in threes, and it does not scatter when a line holds. Nordvergur steadings hang the pelts at the gate, and the count on the gate says how bad the winter was.
