Wild Manticore
A bargaining manticore is a settled animal that works a road it has learned. A wild manticore does not negotiate or warn, and it does not hold a range long enough to be mapped. It ambushes from above, attacks the largest creature in the group first and fires its tail spines in volleys. A highland with unexplained spine strikes is a no-landing zone.
