Fire Beetle
A fire beetle is a black rhinoceros beetle with a single curved horn and an orange gland under the jaw that glows from inside. The gland holds an oil that the beetle spits and ignites in the same breath, which it uses to clear rivals off a carcass. Miners keep the glands for lamps, and a gland keeps glowing for days after the beetle dies.
