Wendigo
A wendigo is a person who ate human flesh through a hard season and was changed by it into a gaunt, antlered undead. Frost forms around it, and it hunts along the tree line. Each meal makes it larger, and a larger body needs more food. Northern communities treat the early signs as an emergency and do not discuss what is done about them.
