• gearEquipment that is neither weapon nor armor. Carried, worn, or set up and used.

A translation and telemetry layer worn over whatever a member system already issues. It is built for the Halcyion Defense Forces, which field Thuulean assault divisions, Istryxian scouts, Qy'reen engineers and Halcyion fire support in the same action with no shared equipment standard or first language. While worn, you can pass and receive orders with any Federation creature within 1 mile regardless of shared language, and you cannot be surprised by an ally's movement. Suppressing the link takes a DC 16 Intelligence (Technology) check. Issued by the Halcyion Order.
