Domain of Order
A Cleric Domain of law and oath that grants reaction attacks to spell targets, punishes broken agreements and issues a binding command as a Spell Divinity option.
Identity
The Domain of Order is the Cleric Domain of people who write rules down and hold all parties to them, including their god. Code-priests, oath-registrars, Axiom Combine liturgists who treat a well-formed procedure as a devotional act, and frontier circuit-clerics riding between claims with a ledger and a sidearm all serve it. Their conviction is that an agreement is real and a signature binds.
Features
- L3 Voice of Authority
You gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill and with one gaming set or one artisan's tool of your choice. Once on each of your turns, when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that targets an ally, that ally can use its reaction to make one weapon attack. You also know when a creature has broken an oath, contract or formal agreement it made in your presence.
- L7 Embodiment of the Law
As a reaction when a creature within 30 feet makes an attack, casts a spell or moves in a way that breaks an agreement it made with you or your allies, you can impose disadvantage on that roll or halve that movement. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses on a long rest.
- L11 Spell Divinity: Order's Demand
As an action, you present your holy symbol and issue a binding command. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet that you can see must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or obey a command you choose from the following for 1 minute: stop attacking, drop what it is holding, or move to a place you designate within its speed. A creature that takes damage or is ordered to harm itself repeats the save at the end of that turn.
- L15 Precedent
When a creature succeeds on a saving throw against one of your spells, you can record the exception. The next time that creature makes a saving throw against any of your spells before you finish a long rest, it has disadvantage on the save. In addition, the weapon attack that Voice of Authority lets an ally make deals extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
- L18 Avatar of Order Capstone
As a bonus action, you establish an ordered field in a 30-foot radius around you for 1 minute. Within it, no creature can teleport, take the Dash action or be moved against its will by an effect it did not choose. Every creature of your choice has advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened, and the ground is difficult terrain for hostile creatures. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
