Goliath

A people carved from stone, ice, and being hunted. Goliaths descend from true giants and hold them in open contempt, having spent generations being treated as failed copies by the Frost and Fire lines. Worth is measured in what you can carry and whether you are still standing.

Features

  • Giant's Frame

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift, and you have advantage on Athletics checks made to climb or to lift.

  • Stone's Endurance

When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12 and reduce the damage by that roll plus your Constitution modifier. You regain this on a short or long rest.

  • Mountain-Born

You are acclimatised to high altitude and to extreme cold, and you have resistance to cold damage.

  • Measured by Survival

You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion, and Goliaths take a competitor's measure honestly whatever else they think of them.
