Knight's Squire
A squire is a young man in a short tunic and a hood, armed with a sword he has not yet been allowed to name. A squire tends a knight's arms and horse, rides behind on campaign and fights when the knight is down. Most are of good family, and none are knights yet. A squire who reaches a fallen master stands over the body and defends it.
