Leprechaun
A leprechaun is found by sound: a hammer tapping one shoe somewhere in the hedge, never two. A creature that takes hold of him and keeps its eyes on him can bargain for his whole hoard. If it looks away for one breath, even to check the hoard, he is gone into the hedge and the hammering starts again somewhere else.
