Human PR 7

Renowned Swashbuckler

This duelist has taught fencing and has lost twice, both times to opponents who have since died of other causes. She stopped fighting the blade years ago and fights the room instead: the lamp, the table, the loose board, the doorway behind her. Her theatrics play to the crowd, because a crowd that wants her to win is another advantage.

Equipment

Traits

  • Use the Room

The swashbuckler gains a +2 bonus to attack rolls while within 5 feet of furniture, rigging, a stairway or any other feature she can use.

  • Crowd Favorite

While at least three neutral creatures are watching, the swashbuckler has advantage on Charisma checks and on saving throws against being Frightened.

  • Nimble

Opportunity attacks against the swashbuckler have disadvantage.

Actions

  • Multiattack

The swashbuckler makes three Rapier attacks.

  • Rapier

    +8 to hit · reach 5 ft.

    2d6 + 5 piercing damage

  • Thrown Dagger

+8 to hit · close range

    1d6 + 5 piercing damage

  • Bring It Down

One feature within 10 feet gives way: a chandelier, a stack of crates, a rail. Each creature under it makes a DC 16 Dexterity save, taking 6d6 bludgeoning damage and being knocked Prone on a failure, or half as much on a success.

  • Riposte Reaction

When a creature within 5 feet misses the swashbuckler with a melee attack, she makes one Rapier attack against it.
