- armorWorn protection. Sets or contributes to your armor class.
- armor-pieceA piece rather than a suit. It changes no armor class on its own; a matched set of head, arms, hands, waist, legs and feet grants +1.

Rules
-
An armor piece changes no Armor Class on its own. The body armor is what sets it. Wearing the Leather Cuirass together with its head, hands, legs and feet pieces grants a +1 bonus to Armor Class.
Grades
The same object, worked to a better standard. The grade is the rung; the bonus is what the rung is worth at the table.
Equipment Line
The same kit across the tiers. Later rungs replace earlier ones.
