Aurelion Synth
The Ascendancy keeps its dead in marks, and a mark can be set into a chassis when no body is left to take it. A Synth is gilded plate shaped like the person it was, down to the hair, with the mark running behind the faceplate. The transfer cannot be reversed, and all involved know that before it is made. Synths crew the Shield worlds, where there is no air.

Traits
-
The Mark
The synth remembers its life in full and can be questioned about it. If the mark is destroyed with the chassis, it is gone, because the Ascendancy keeps no second copy.
-
Synthetic Body
It needs no food, drink, air or sleep, and it can work in vacuum indefinitely. No magic can return it to a living body.
-
Dual Nature
It is affected by anything that targets a humanoid as well as anything that targets a construct, whichever is worse for it.
Actions
-
Multiattack
The synth makes two attacks, in any combination of Gilded Fist and Service Sidearm.

Recall Bonus action
It names something it witnessed in life. One allied creature that can hear it gains advantage on its next check made to find, open or identify that thing.
