Root Revenant
A body laid in unconsecrated soil without the rites can rise as a root revenant. A root revenant is a skull and ribcage packed with earth, moss and old timber, with roots run through the joints where tendons used to be. It hunts the people who buried it and any creature that disturbs its grave. Burning it fails to end it because the roots grow back. Reburying the body with the proper rites in its grave ends it.
