Vanir PR 3

Vanir Acolyte

A Vanir acolyte is a student of the Ether Channel in training at a Vanir house. Acolytes are taught the Channel as a court discipline: what may be opened, in whose presence, and how to close it without notice. Their spells are illusion, charm and silence, and they attend the houses at court.

  • Quiet Word

    DC 13 Wisdom save

One creature within 60 feet takes 5d8 psychic damage and cannot speak until the end of its next turn on a failed save, or half damage on a success.

  • Unsaid Reaction

    DC 13 Charisma save

When a creature within 60 feet speaks a command, casts a spell with a spoken component, or calls out a warning, that creature makes a Charisma saving throw. On a failure the utterance does not happen, the effect is wasted, and no creature present can afterwards recall hearing it.
