You lay a hand on a metal object no larger than a longsword and send a small pulse of Metal-Rifting into it. Choose one effect: restore the object to a mirror polish (removing tarnish, soot, and surface grime), smooth out a single dent or burr up to a quarter inch deep, or briefly raise a buried marking, such as a serial number, a maker's stamp, or an erased inscription, back to legibility for one minute. The spell does not repair structural damage, change the alloy, or work on objects under active magical concealment.
As You Advance

| Level 5 | At 5th level and above, you can affect an object up to the size of a breastplate. |
| Level 11 | At 11th level and above, you can affect an object up to the size of a small vehicle hull panel. |
| Level 17 | At 17th level and above, the legibility effect for raised markings becomes permanent. |
The repair line
A line opens low and forks. Where you go from here depends on what you took to get here.
