You reach into the local Rift substrate and edit one fact about the immediate scene. Add or remove one small object, change what a creature within range just said or did, replace the contents of a container, or shift one minor detail of the environment. The change must be plausible within the scene, and it cannot kill a creature, restore a creature to full hit points, or undo a death. The GM decides the limits of the edit. You gain one level of exhaustion, and you cannot cast this spell again until you finish a long rest.
At Higher Levels
When cast using a 10th-level slot as a ritual, the change persists beyond the scene and becomes part of local history.
