You open your attention to the local field and hold it there. For the duration you know whether active Rift energy is present within 30 feet of you, roughly how much, and which Channel it belongs to. You do not learn what is producing it beyond a general direction. A running reactor nearby masks weaker sources.
As You Advance
| Level | Effect |
|---|---|
| Level 5 | At 5th level the range increases to 60 feet. |
| Level 11 | At 11th level you also learn the direction and approximate distance of the strongest source. |
| Level 17 | At 17th level the range increases to 120 feet and you identify the Channel of every distinct source separately. |
